Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. In addition to BJJ training as well, she was also trained in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd finished Evinger during the first round, and was awarded an outstanding performance bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to stop Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
