Antonella Barba
Singer was born on 26 November 1986 at Santa Monica California. She is the child of her father Vincenzo and her mother Valerie Barba. In 2006, the couple moved with their family members to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Her secondary schooling within New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating from Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture She continued to pursue her studies at the school. At the age of four when she started playing the violin, earning her the title Violin Girl. A result of her musical performances, she became known as the Violin Girl. Her neighborhood kids were also instructed to play the violin by her. In the six season of American Idol, she sang Free in 1976 when she was just nineteen. However she was eliminated after reaching 16th position in the competition. In addition, she has performed other songs like The Christmas Song (2009) and Out for Blood (2010). The singer has also been featured on television shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live! Antonella Barba became famous as an American when she competed on American Idol's 6th season. Her career began on film following her expulsion from American Idol following six seasons. In the end, she has played small parts in films and also competed on Fear Factor's 2012 season. As per Daily Mail reports on November 21 2019 she was sentenced nearly four years of prison time in connection with a conspiracy to spread the drug fentanyl. The singer plead guilty in July to possession of more than 4000 grams of fentanyl of distribution. However, she was detained by authorities in Virginia after she attempted to get nearly 2 kilograms of the substance into a secret stash in October of 2018.
