Anne Celeste Heche is an American actress who is known for playing a wide range of roles in film, television, and theatre. She has received many accolades including the Daytime Emmy Award. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11, 2022) was an American actor. Her first recognition came as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love of the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991) and she was the recipient of the two Soap Opera Digest Awards. In the late 1990s, she began to rise to prominence with the roles she played in the crime-drama films Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the film about horror I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 6, 1953. She is an American actress. She is well-known for her role as the role of Lieutenant Sheba from the 1978-1979 television series Battlestar Galactica. Lockhart is the daughter of actor June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. The professional life of Lockhart began young. The first time she appeared on screen was in the age of four when she starred in T is for Tumbleweed. The film was a short one on the subject was nominated for the Oscar Awards. The actress would often be seen in the film with her mom, where she could learn the intricacies of the business world. Lockhart appeared in many episodes of Lassie. Joan was the last actress to appear on the show. A popular rumor is that Anne turned down the role in the film Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's film Halloween in 1978, which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter says he had her in mind to play the character however she decided to decline the role. Anne states that she doesn't remember being approached or even offered the part by John Carpenter. It is possible that one of her representatives turned down the job on her behalf without informing the actress. Glen Larson sent her an preliminary draft of script for a character in 1978's television show Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the part as she believed that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen created a brand new character for herself, with Sheba as a more powerful character. The Living Legend's first 25-page script was read to her, and she immediately endorsed it. It ran for a single season. The show was cancelled after one season.
