Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die maker who previously been employed as a worker in an industrial company. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was in second grade when she was 5 years old. She was considered as being academically gifted. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. She was also a contestant in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, winning Miss Crawford County. Stone together with her Aunt in 1977, moved to New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. Soon after, Stone relocated to Europe and spent the entire year living in Milan and Paris. Stone became dissatisfied with the model market in Europe but decided to concentrate on acting. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories" with mixed receptions.
